Welcome to the website of Uttoxeter Town Council, which aims to keep people informed about the services of the Town Council, as well as promoting town events and activities.
The traditional market town of Uttoxeter, which has a population of around 14,000, is situated within the Borough of East Staffordshire.
Uttoxeter has thriving weekly outdoor markets held every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday within the Market Place. An indoor Craft and Food market is held every Wednesday within the Town Hall. Recently the Council has launched its Indoor Farmers' Market and Craft Stalls held every second Saturday of the month within the Town Hall.
Uttoxeter Town Council is made up of sixteen Councillors who are elected to office every four years. Uttoxeter Town Mayor who is appointed annually for a twelve month term, is currently Councillor Martin Blencowe.
The Council are responsible for Uttoxeter Cemetery, the grounds of St. Mary's Parish Churchyard, various allotment sites, the War Memorial, Millennium Monument, the Christmas lights, Uttoxeter in Bloom, Uttoxeter Markets, Uttoxeter Town Hall and various town centre events.
